Greenpeace Nordic is looking for an interim Programme Assistant for 9 to 12 month
Our current Programme Assistant will go on parental leave from November 2015 and we are therefore looking for a temporary replacement during this period.
About the role:
In this role you will be working closely with the Nordic Programme Director. The main purpose of the position is to provide administrative and organisational assistance to enable the effective functioning of the Programme Department.
You support the core team in all operational processes, manage information flows for the programme department and track and monitors projects and budgets, so that GPN can access up to date and accurate information. Ensure clear internal communication, maintain internal networks and implement administrative, financial and logistical aspects for the team in order to enable smooth day‐to‐day operations of the programme department.
The position can be based in any of the Nordic capitals some travel can be expected.
Qualifications and personal skills required:
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Excellent co-ordination and logistical skills
- Proactive approach
- Strong inter-personal skills
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
- Experience in Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strict confidentiality and professionalism
Qualifications and personal skills preferred
- 1-2 years of experience with Greenpeace within the Global organization
- Experience at providing administrative support at a senior level in fluent English
- Project management skills or experience
