Greenpeace Nordic is looking for an Executive Assistant to cover for parental leave

Our current Executive Assistant is going on parental leave this autumn. We are therefore looking for a temporary replacement during mid October 2015 to mid October 2016.

About the role:
This is a full-time position assisting the Executive Director (ED) and ensuring the smooth functioning of the Executive Director’s office. 

Key areas of responsibilities include administrative and executive assistance to the ED and direct support to the governing bodies, the Board and the AGM of Greenpeace Nordic, as well as ensuring the smooth running of the Senior Management Team. 

This position will provide support, proactive coordination and communication for the ED’s office work, including producing a variety of reporting and presentations, handling the e-mail, travel and calendar of the ED, as well as developing systems and procedures for information management. 

The preferred location is Stockholm but location in Helsinki, Copenhagen and Oslo can be discussed.

 Qualifications and personal skills required:

• Experience in assisting at an executive level

• Experience in administrating governance processes in particular in managing board meetings, annual general meetings, and senior management team meetings

• High level document management

• Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in English plus, ideally, in one Nordic language

• Excellent co-ordination and logistical skills

• Proactive approach
• Strong inter-personal skills
• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
• Ability to work effectively in a team but also to work independently
• Strict confidentiality and professionalism
• Excellent skills in Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
