Do you want to work in a major global organization that is market leader in its industry? Are you ready to take the next step in your career? Now KONE is looking for a Sourcing Specialist Direct Materials and Spares for the team in Scandinavia with location at KONE headquarter in Kista, Stockholm.
As a Sourcing Specialist for Scandinavia, you will support the Unit Sourcing Manager in executing sourcing plans in close collaboration with local operations. Your main responsibilities will be identifying local sourcing opportunities, manage supplier tenders, act as contract owner for selected suppliers and manage related supplier relationships. You will also support individual customer projects with their specific needs and support finding the optimal supplier set-up for these projects.
KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in business or in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience in relevant field
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in sourcing, supply chain. Related category experience is an asset
- Analytical and strategic thinking, change management skills
- Strong negotiation skills, understanding strategic sourcing process is an asset
- Contracts management knowledge, Supplier performance and quality management as well as stakeholder management skills
- Capability to work effectively and drive change in a matrix environment with our business and front-line teams
- A team player attitude and strong performance under pressure
- Ability to manage projects independently
- Clear communication skills, fluent in both Scandinavian and English language.
- Ability to work in an international environment
- Willingness to travel in Scandinavian countries
We believe you are a person that ensure alignment and collaboration with Unit operations management and key stakeholders as well as participation and support for global category management teams. You manage unit requirements and translate into sourcing opportunities.
You will be responsible for regional and global level category plans and sourcing projects in a FL through additional local contract negotiations as needed. Update local instructions and policies, provide guidance and support the business in following preferred suppliers and ensuring compliance. Lead supplier negotiations, selection and contracts under responsibility area. You will also be responsible for creating an action plan for saving in Indirect spend on a Scandinavian level (Sweden, Norway & Denmark).
As a person you are experienced and visionary with the ability to communicate with confidence and clarity. You identify and break down barriers to open communication. You encourage team members to share and implement their ideas and understand the value of cooperation between functions.
For you it is important to keep yourself up-to-date on current developments in the industry and to always seeks opportunities for improvement.
