As one of our Nordic IT Helpdesk technicians you will be the primary person acting on all incoming requests in our first line support. This will include supporting a wide range of services, devices and applications and engaging with users, answering questions, troubleshooting problems on site as well as remotely, providing basic training to end users and ensuring that the organization can work as smoothly as possible. When required you will escalate issues to other parts of the IT Operations team or to external vendors.The helpdesk work is governed by IT policies, processes and procedures and it is expected that the role will contribute continuously to the development of these. The role supports all offices where Greenpeace Nordic is present, remote workers as well as volunteers, guests and visitors. The IT Helpdesk technician is managed by the Head of IT but works under the operational task management of the Nordic IT Operations Team Lead.Our technical environment is a mixture of Windows and Mac computers and IOS and Android mobile devices.
